The Windjammer is Falmouth’s tucked-away taste of Cornwall. With locally sourced produce, a low carbon footprint ethic and a sprinkle of special.

Keeping within the spirit of Falmouth’s heritage, The Windjammer Cafe & Bar is situated in the heart of the town, peering peacefully over the harbour and out to open seas. We work in close conjunction with The Falmouth Water Sports Association, on a working slipway which is the home to 15 different clubs with over 300 members. The cafe & bar offers an open-armed, relaxing welcome to all, from families to furry friends. Our menu is designed with a low carbon footprint, locally sourced ethic, as we aim to keep up with Falmouth’s modern cosmopolitan culture. The menu is combining American and British cuisine with a splash of surprise and a dash of flair, as we dare to experiment with seasonal produce and unique food pairing methods. With interior and exterior seating, there’s a place for everyone at The Windjammer, those looking for the quiet and comfort of the cafe and those looking to explore the seas from their seats, pint in hand!

A windjammer is a commercial sailing ship with multiple masts that may be either square-rigged or fore-and-aft rigged or a combination of the two.

  • Indoor Seating

    We can accomodate everyone from large groups to solo diners. Light and airy with ample window seating available for views across the harbour and out to sea. We also have a counter with dual USB and socket outputs for those coffee enthusiast, work-a-holics. Pets welcome indoors.

  • Outdoor Seating

    With outdoor seating to the front and rear of the building, we have designated smoking and non smoking areas. Plenty of room for all, with stunning views overlooking Falmouth harbour, heat-lamps for the colder evenings and roofing to shelter you from unexpected Cornish showers. Pets allowed, of course.
